December is actually the time of Christ's conception, not His birth.
Western thinking has been influenced by Pagans who measure age at birth and not conception.
The Orient and Middle East begin measuring age at the time of conception. Israel and Arab countries continue this measurement of age into the 21st century.
Christ was born in September but we can celebrate His conception on December 25th.
Glad tidings of Joy! For God has sent the redeemer who has been born to restore men back to God.
Celebrate the beginning of His life in human form this day and point to His birth as you share the events with family.
Take advantage of the Holidays to be with friends and family. But above all, remember that Jesus is the true reason for the season!
