Lemuel was a nickname that Bathsheba gave to King Solomon. The name means "Godward." Massa means prophecy. So literally, Bathesheba was calling Solomon "prophetic king who pursues God." This chapter lists what Bathsheba told Solomon about women. It also shows how much Bathsheba loved him. Yes, Solomon was a mama's boy. Then again, so was Jesus.
