In Will Smith's newest movie "I AM LEGEND," a virologist is trying to discover a cure for a manmade virus that has mutated all life on Earth it has come into contact with. Infected humans have been changed into a merciless vampire like creature that only comes out at night. In the same manner that the manmade virus infected the world, the first human, Adam, caused the sin virus to infect all things in the universe.
From birth, humans walk around infected by the sin virus. It has tainted all humans, animals, plants, the Earth, and the entire universe. Man cannot develop a vaccine. They, however, try to do so by inventing religions, rituals, spells, incantations, self help books, seminars, governments, songs, poetry, technology, and supposed scientific "theories." The Rebel has ensnared the infected planet, pushing men toward their distraction of self curing.
There is but one cure for the infection. Virologist Robert Neville discovered his cure. But, Jesus came and became the cure. He cures all who embrace Him. He rescues all who will from the kingdom of the Rebel.
