License to Sin and More Rant

It's terribly disconcerting. Many Presbyterians, Episcopals, Methodists, and several Baptists are taught a distorted version of the Gospel.

Parents of these politically correct denominations tell their children that they should not have sex until they are ready and to take along birth control just in case they can't contain. It sounds almost right doesn't it? What if a father or mother were to walk up to their child and hand them birth control followed by an "I love you." Call me non-Christophobic but I see that as an act of evil.

These days, even women are offended when if you promote abstinence. Where have all the ladies gone?

lady - A well-mannered and considerate woman with high standards of proper behavior. A woman regarded as proper and virtuous. A well-behaved young girl. A woman who is the head of a household. A woman, especially when spoken of or to in a polite way. The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition

How absurd is it to find a woman think it is strange for a male to state that they are dedicated to the notion that true love waits?

The American and European cultures despise the concepts of total quality improvement. I took a college class on it. It is so foreign to our Western minds. However in Africa, the Orient, India, Arabia, and Israel, the concept flourishes and is welcomed.

How much more do we have to align ourselves with belief systems akin to Wicca, Satanism, and other occult functions? These pagan group members approach their children in the same manner as I've described here. Churches and Christophobic Christians promoting agendas that refer to all stances against sin as "JUDGING."

While struggling even this day over a weird weird situation, my mind went to a scene of a person in particular descending into flames. In my mind, I could hear them say, "Yes Lord. I know I should have listened."

My inward parts ache when I hear a professing Christian state, "No matter if you sin or not after being saved, you don't have to repent."

repent - v 1: turn away from sin or do penitence  2: feel remorse for; feel sorry for; be contrite about --- WordNet, 2003 Princeton University

Are we attending social clubs every Sunday morning? Do we get up and get dressed to fulfill some derranged obligation? We ease our conscience by attending. We placate our friends, relatives, and pastors by attending. Is our serving God only existent as we tithe, hide behind a song book, bow our head in corporate prayer, and keep from nodding off as the minister speaks? How can there be a successful relationship with anyone for 1 or 2 hours a week of contact? It can't be a very strong relationship for sure. Lip service. Being seen. What a croc.

How thick does a person have to be to think that any stand against sin is judging or offensive?

Pardon my rant. Call me nuts or call it the rant of a non-Christophobic Christian.

In terms of ladies and all, I want to finish off with a few quotes from the band DCTalk:

The other night I met a girl
And she looked to be so nice
I asked her for the digits
And she didn't think twice
A couple of days later called her up and asked her out
She said,"with you?" I said, "with me,"
And then she said, "without a doubt"
I took her to the Garden where
I guess they grow the Olives
She wore a tighter skirt
Than any I had seen in college
She said, "I love to smoke and drink
While cursing like a sailor"
I asked her where she got her mouth
And if she had a tailor
Finally I walked her to the door to say goodnight
She said, "I am an apple,
Would you care to take a bite?"
Politely I refused and said, "I'm looking for a lady"
So she slapped me in my face and said,
"Boy, you must be crazy"
Different from the ones before
Different from the ones before, she's that kinda girl
Different from the ones before,
Cause I know she loves the Lord
She's that kinda girl, virtuous in every way
The kinda girl that makes you say,
"I hope she comes my way"
Well I'm lookin' for a girl who virtuous
Cause God laid it on my heart to search for this
So I open up the Word to the book of Proverbs
The 31st chapter tells me all about her
Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain
A woman who fears the Lord, she ain't playin'
Hear what I'm sayin', cause I'm sayin' it clearly
She's the kinda girl I gots to have near me
She's that kinda girl. Different from the ones before
Cause I know she loves the Lord
She's that kinda girl, virtuous in every way,
The kinda girl that makes you say...
Well I'm lookin' into hookin' with a lady
And not a girly of the worl'y that's shady
But the kinda girl you meet
Behind the doors of a church
Ya see, God will bring her to me
So I don't have to search
Too hard I've been scarred by the ones of the past
So put an APB out on the one that will last
A little longer than a roll in the hay for sure
But a bona fide lady's what I'm prayin' for
When I finally meet her, I'll know how to treat her
By fulfilling all her needs
Love her and respect her, cherish her forever
She's the kinda girl for me
She's that kinda girl
Different from the ones before,
Cause I know she loves the Lord
She's that kinda girl, perfect for each other
There'll never be another for me
She's that kinda girl, virtuous in every way
The kinda girl that makes you say
"I hope she comes my way"
Heaven help me, hear my plea
I know there's one who's perfect for me
When I finally meet her, I'll know how to treat her,
By fulfilling all her needs
Love her and respect her, cherish her forever
She's the kinda girl for me
She' the kinda girl for me, the kinda girl for me
She' the kinda girl for me
She' the kinda girl for me, the kinda girl for me
She' the kinda girl for me, I pray she come's my way
She's that kinda girl
Different from the ones before
Cause I know she loves the Lord
She's that kinda girl, virtuous in every way
The kinda girl that makes you say...
She's that kinda girl
[ya know what I'm saying]
Different from the ones before
She's the one that I adore
She's that kinda girl
[hey, the girly aint playin']
virtuous in every way
The kinda girl that makes you say
"I hope she comes my way"

S-E-X is test when I'm pressed
So back up off with less of that zest
Impress this brother with a life of virtue
The innocence that's spent is gonna hurt you
Safe is the way they say to play
Then again safe ain't safe at all today
So just wait for the mate that's straight from God
Don't have sex 'til you tie the knot
(chorus)
I don't want it, I don't want it, want it
I don't want it, want your sex for now
I don't want it, I don't want it, want it
I don't want it, 'til we take the vows
----
Girl, it's gonna take a little time
For us to see [the truth]
That love is simply more
Than fulfilling the need [for S-E-X]
Respect is what we need to find the cure
For this disease [of lust]
And trust in God above
To shape our lives in harmony
[Do you copy?]
That's why I'm saying
(repeat chorus)
[Ah yeah, Red Leader, I don't think I copy that
Uh, did you say you don't want sex for now?
I'm confused, could you clarify? Over.]
Girl, they say that it takes two
To make a thing go right (for love)
But girl, we gotta remember
There's another in our lives (in God we trust)
We must add up the cost
Before indulging in the heat (for now)
And trust that God will give us
Something better if we wait
That's why we got to say...
(repeat chorus)
1-900-LOVE, S-E-X is on the TV
Too much skin is in your vision
You gotta make the right decision
God has set His standard higher
Purity is His desire, I'm gonna choose to wait
I don't want it, I don't want it
I don't want your sex for now
Yo, s-e-x is a test when I'm pressed
So back off with less of that zest
Impress this brother with a life of virtue
The innocence that's spent is gonna hurt you
Safe is the way they say to play
But then again safe ain't safe at all today
So just wait for the mate that's straight from God
Don't give it up 'til you tie the knot
I don't want it, I don't want it, want it
I don't want it, your sex for now
I don't want it, I don't want it, want it
I don't want it, I don't want your sex
I don't want your sex for now
Until we take the vows
Even if they dog me out
I don't want your sex (4x)
[Red Leader, Red Leader, I don't think I copy]
[Your sex for now!]

[It's okay, it's all right]
It's okay, it's alright
Yeah, here we go
dcT is in the house boy
It's okay, it's alright
Whatcha thinking, doing the things you do
Whose opinion are ya listening to?
Justifying, you turn it all to gray
Synchronizing to society's ways
Society has gotten to be all outta whack
And don't bother with excuses whether white or black
To blame it on a color won't get a result
Because history reveals to me how ethics were lost
In reality our decency has taken a plunge
"In God We Trust" is an American pun
Funny how it happened so suddenly
Hey yo fellas, kick the melody...
(chorus)
Socially acceptable, it's okay, it's all right
Socially acceptable, it's okay, in whose sight
Socially acceptable
----
Times are changing, with morals in decay
Human rights have made the wrongs okay
Something's missing, and if you're asking me
I think that something is the G-O-D
To label wrong or right by the people's sight
Is like going to a loser to ask advice
And by basing your plans
On another man's way of living life
Is creating a brand of ethics
Sure to be missing the punch
No count morals that are out to lunch
They're sliding away cause everything is okay
It was taboo back then but today ya say, "What the hey"
(repeat chorus)
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Here we go, here we go
A come on, a come on
Here we go, here we go
A come on, a come on
Here we go, here we go
A come on, a come on
Here we go, here we go
A come on, a come on
Everybody's doin' it
Who's doin' it
Everybody's doin' it
Yo, who's doin' it
Everybody's doin' it
Who's doin' it
Everybody's doin' it
Yo, yo, yo, who's doin' it
Ohhhh, alright
Ohhhh, come on
(bridge)
We gotta back to the principles found in the Word
A little G-O-D could be society's cure
From the state that we're in cause again we're slipping
So pray for America cause time is ticking
(repeat chorus 2x)

DC Talk - Socially Acceptable
----

Reader, there ain't no changing what the Lord shaped me into. Yeah. I've been rattling off. Sometimes I may rattle off to you to see if you're someone I can trust. I may even ask you to pray about something or confide in you to see if you're someone I can trust. If you're a lady who's looking my way, ain't no use coming to me unless you embrace the truth in what those 3 songs say. Heck, I won't even fool with a woman if she likes country music.
