And the left has decided to target American Christians more so by attacking Christian Nationalists as if it is evil. Name me a century where Americans between now and 1776 did not esteem Christian Nationalism. Are you going to feed me redefinitions to further demonize true Christians? Let's look at what Christian Nationalists below, promote, or espouse:
1) Supports public displays of Christian imagery. They do not discriminate on where the imagery is placed. Some of those things include or included The New England Primer which is filled with Christian imagery and was used in schools throughout the 13 states. They do not exclude references, displays, and imagery of The Ten Commandments (which used to be on most courtroom walls in the USA), The Bible, etc. See examples throughout the Library of Congress' online exhibit here: https://www.loc.gov/exhibits/religion/.
2) Supporting and voting for laws and candidates that uphold a New Testament Christian worldview.
3) They realize the present interpretation of "separation" was not made mainstream until 1947 when the court fully embraced it after Communist Roger Baldwin's ACLU pressed the interpretation for years. Roger Baldwin had stated at the ACLU's founding that it was his goal to make Ameria a Communist nation.
4) They realize that teacher led school prayer and Bible reading was not officially outlawed until 1962.
5) Christian Nationalists like the idea that the term Christmas is used instead of holiday, though they understand holiday means "holy day." They object to the notions of redefining Christmas items as holy day items. I'm sorry, holiday items.
I suppose these could be referred to as "The Five Points of Christian Nationalism."
I will interject that part of the Great Commission is to go into all the world and preach the Good News. All doesn't mean outside a certain sphere or to exclude God from the sacred cow of human government.
